Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled its upcoming car, which is going to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The company’s newest hot offering of 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 teased ahead of its launch.
The new GLA 45 is the third musketeer in the Mercedes-AMG A family along with A 45 and CLA 45. The new Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 comes with an M139 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 382 bhp and 480 Nm of peak torque. It paired with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and power sent to all four wheels via the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 speed transmission from 0-100kmph coming up in 4.3 seconds with the maximum speed of 250kmph. The new Mercedes-AMG gets 13.8-inch discs with four-piston calipers up front and 13-inch discs at the rear with a single-piston caliper.
The latest Mercedes-Benz SUV comes with a roof-mounted spoiler and a revised bumper with larger dual 3.2-inch exhaust pipes at the rear. The wheels upgraded to larger 19-inch units with 21-inch alloy wheels as optional. The cabin gets piano black trims and a Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The hardware upgraded to a revised suspension geometry that reduces torque steering and an aluminum wishbone that reduces the model’s unsprung mass. The suspension set-up up with adaptive dampers that come with three modes, while an aluminum plate added to the engine for more stiffness. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GLA 45 expected to arrive in India by the end of this year.
