Several carmakers are already looking to launch a new financing package to boost vehicle sales during the pandemic. Similarly, Kia Motors India looking to introduce a special 3-month EMI cover financial product that offers affordable EMIs along with other special offers. Manohar Bhat, VP & Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia Motors India, shared this information during a live chat with SVP on freewheeling.
Speaking to Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, Editor-in-Chief, Carandbike on the latest Freewheeling with SVP webisode, Manohar Bhat, Vice President & Head of Sales & Marketing, Kia Motors India, said, “We ‘re just talking to the bank about having a product to cover if the person doesn’t earn anything, so we’re getting a product like that for health reasons or whatever reason. The product is EMI for 3 months, so I think we’re talking with a couple of banks, also mutual companies, about that kind of product. We also have eight-year and seven-year products that will make the EMIs much lower than the 3-4-year product.
Besides, the carmaker has resumed retail operations in the country with approximately 85% of its currently operating dealerships, including Kia showrooms and service outlets. The company reported that the sales outlets resumed their operations by following all the required guidelines provided by the local authority to guarantee the health and safety of employees and their customers.
