Maruti Suzuki has launched the facelift of its Ignis model around after three years. The new Maruti Suzuki Ignis has for the right updates for a facelift, which includes an all-new chrome grille and a revised bumper along with beefier skid plates. The Maruti Ignis front look enhances its sporty stance for sure.
The cabin of the Maruti Suzuki new car is similar to the previous model in terms of layout and design. This model gets a new Smartplay Studio 2.0 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and a new MID unit.
The 2020 Suzuki Ignis gets the BS6 compliant 1.2-liter, four-cylinder VVT petrol engine from the Swift, Baleno that develops 82bhp and 113Nm of peak torque, and it comes with a five-speed manual transmission with optional AMT gearbox.
Now Maruti Suzuki sales only available for petrol engine variant as the Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter diesel unit has been discontinued, and the company has no plans to introduce the diesel line-up of its hatchbacks.
This new Maruti Ignis 2020 comes with ISOFIX seats, dual airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, and ABS with EBD as standard. The facelifted Ignis gets a revised front fascia with a Maruti Suzuki S-Presso-like front grille and a new bumper.
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis price in India is Rs 5.29 lakh. The new Suzuki Ignis model will available in six colors, including two new shades Lucent Orange and New Turquoise color.
This model rivals against Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Mahindra KUV100 NXT, Renault Triber, Fiat Punto Evo, and Maruti Suzuki Celerio X.
